Stoltzekleiven Opp is a mythical uphill race held every year in September by the sports club Varegg. The race ascends Stoltzekleiven from Fjellveien, 200 meters south of Bergen secondary station, and up to the pass below Sandviksfløyen. Since 1979, runners have streamed up this challenging course, which has an elevation gain of 301.44 meters and consists of approximately 800 steps. The event spans two days and has been fully booked in recent years, with around 6,300 registered participants.
